Time management is one of the greatest challenges faced by companies, regardless of their size. Before approaching the module, we offer you some practical tips that will surely help you when managing it. Let's begin!

In this article, you will find:

What does the time register module consist of?

This module is part of the hub Time Management, an extremely effective tool to explore and control the schedules, shifts, and segments of employees within a company. It also covers other equally important incidents such as leaves, medical visits, vacations, and everything that forms the employee's timeline

Therefore, within this module, there are certain common elements or terms that will help you navigate it with ease, including:

  • Segment: these are the tangible plannable and/or registerable entities that are added to the system within a schedule or shift. If a schedule or shift lasts from 8 to 17 h, we can include several segments within it (such as established breaks or lunch times, among others).
  • Schedule: The sum of segments over a period of time consistently, stipulated for each employee within a company (work segments, rest, meals, etc.) in a quite rigid manner.
  • Shift: it is the unit of time planning for the employee with a more variable and versatile planning, being possible to manage it on a specific screen with assignments based on patterns, etc.

You should also bear in mind that before exploiting the functionalities that this module offers you to the fullest, it will be necessary to manage the elements described above as well as new ones in the Configuration section, which we also offer in this user guide.

Therefore, the management sequence is as follows: Plan > Manage > Edit
