Duplicate a position
Access the Persons and Positions hub and go to Positions > Organizational Structure.
In the Active Positions and Employees tab, locate the position you want to duplicate. Check its box or click directly on the corresponding row.
Then:
Press the More options button, located on the toolbar.
Select the Duplicate position option.
A Duplicate positions modal window will open, with a wizard divided into three steps.

Step 1: Hierarchical position
Select in the structure tree the location where the new duplicated position will be placed, either in active or future positions.
You can also use the search bar to directly locate the unit or the upper position in which you want to integrate it.
Click Next to continue.
Step 2: Selection of fields to duplicate
The second step shows the fields of the original position that can be copied.
You can:
Select all fields in bulk,
Choose only those that interest you, or
Deselect individually those you do not want to duplicate.
The list of selected fields will appear on the right side of the modal window.
Once the selection is reviewed, click Next to continue
Step 3: Basic data
In this final step, define the effective start date of the new duplicated position. This date determines when it will be active within the organizational structure.
Additionally, you can decide if you want to also copy subordinate positions from the original position, if it has any.
Once the options are reviewed, click Duplicate to create the new position.
