Before you start exploring our software, you need to know some basic aspects of the tool, as they will be shown repeatedly in the guide. We recommend that you read them carefully to navigate the software as smoothly as a fish in water.
Here you will find:
Profiles
Within software management, there are three main groups of users, which are:
- Contributor: These are employees, meaning people who work within the organization but do not manage teams or hold HR or administrative roles. They hence only have access to certain functionalities (they cannot, for example, view their team's salaries, since they do not manage them, nor the company's, since they also do not have an administrator role). Thus, they will only have access to certain features (they will not be able to view team salaries or company information, as they do not manage these or have administrator roles). Within this Help Center, articles within the folders (Me) refer to this profile.
- Manager: These include all employees responsible for a team, department, or a specific organizational unit. They manage their work domain via My team. Thus, they have access both to functionalities contained in the folder Me in the current Help Center, as well as to those of My team, because they are contributors but also team managers.
- Administrator: In this role, users have access to view and modify everything related to the software, including the previous two groups. That is, they will have the freedom to view as an employee of the company (Me), as a team manager (My team, since they have people in charge), and as Company (since they are administrators), in addition to performing Configuration tasks. If you have this profile within your company, the system offers you two views from a convenient tab you will find at the top right of the screen:

In summary, and taking into account what has been discussed above, please note that you have the ability to consult all articles in this Help Center, but in practice, you may have limited software functionalities, which will be dependent on the role you perform within your company.
Internal composition
Similarly, in the Help Center, we use certain nomenclature to refer to the software itself and to distinguish its parts and functionalities as simply as possible. Here is the summarized vocabulary:
