(DRAFT) Salary Visibility

The Salary Visibility feature protects the salary information of certain employees, preventing it from being visible to others in the system. These employees are called protected employees, and only users defined as exceptions can view them.

This configuration applies to different screens in the Compensation module: Salaries, Payslips, Salary Documents, and the Employee Profile. This reinforces the confidentiality of salary information within the organization.

Configuration - Module Options

In this section, you can add protected employees and define their exceptions (i.e., those who can access their salary information).

Adding an employee as protected will automatically hide their salary information from other users, except for those explicitly included as exceptions.
If an employee is removed from this configuration, their salary information will be normally visible again to users with access to the module.

Where are the restrictions applied?

Salary visibility restrictions affect the following screens, fields, and actions in the Compensation module:

Salaries

Gross salary: the field is masked.
Salary components: all fields are masked.
Add: the action is available, but it is not possible to select a protected employee.
Edit / Publish / Hide / Delete: actions are hidden.
Export: protected employees are excluded from the exported file.

Payslips

Gross and net amounts: are masked.
Download slip, Edit, Delete: actions are hidden.
Export: protected employees are excluded from the exported file.

Salary Documents

Download slip, Edit, Delete: actions are hidden.

Employee Profile

Employee Summary: "Compensation and benefits" block information is hidden.
Compensation and benefits: tab is hidden in the side menu.
Associate company or center / Add contract / Associate a position / Salary change: actions are hidden.

Reports

Salaries and Salary Evolution: protected employees are excluded from generated reports.

Important: these restrictions do not apply to superadmin users, who will maintain full visibility of salary information.
